IDE HDD Auto Detection
The Enhance IDE features are included in all Award BIOS. Below is a
brief description of this feature.
1. Setup Changes
<I> Auto-detection
BIOS setup will display all possible modes that are supported
by the HDD including NORMAL, LBA & LARGE.
If the HDD does not support LBA modes, no
'LBA' option will be shown.
Users can select a mode which is appropriate for them.
<II> Standard CMOS Setup
When the HDD type is in 'user' type, the "MODE" option will be
opened for user to select their own HDD mode.
