To support LBA or LARGE mode of HDDs, there must be some softĆ

wares involved.  All these softwares are located in the Award HDD SerĆ

vice Routine(INT 13h).  It may fail to access an HDD with LBA (LARGE)

mode selected if you are running under an Operating System which reĆ

places the whole INT 13h.
