Set limiting values:
To set the limiting value press and hold down the P▼ key on the back of the base station until
the display (OF/ON) starts to flash. Press this key once again to select cither ON or OF (Alarm
on and Alarm off). Confirm your selection with the MEM key.Initially the display for the internal
temperature begins to flash. Re-press the P▼ key to change between the display of external
sensor Channel 1 and the internal display.
Please note that a temperature alarm can only be set for external sensor Channel 1.
Confirm your selection with the MEM key. Using the P▼ key you can set the value, which if
exceeded will trigger the alarm. Whilst setting the value the arrow pointing upwards flashes.
Confirm the setting by pressing the MEM key.You can then set the value at which the alarm will
trigger if the temperature falls below a set point. This also occurs with the P▼ key. Whilst setting
the value the arrow pointing downwards flashes. Confirm with the MEM key.
Note: Limiting values for internal and external se nsors respectively must be set separately!
If the set temperature is exceeded or the temperature falls below a set value then a signal tone
sounds five times. The alarm can be terminated prematurely by pressing the MEM key. The
temperature display flashes and only stops flashing if the temperature is outside the alarm ran
-
ge.
Deactivate limiting values:
To deactivate all limiting values press and hold down the P▼ key to access the ON/OF mode.
Now press the same key until OF appears in the display. Confirming four times with the MEM
key deactivates all alarms.
SETTING UP THE OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE/MOISTURE SENSOR UNIT
Insert the batteries into the sensor unit. Press the CHANNEL OUT button on the home receiver
unit and then press the „TX“ button on the sensor unit to transmit the temperature to the base
station so that the base station can receive the respective channel. The base station will beep
after the signal is received. The „TX“ button is behind the rear battery cover – unscrew it to
open.
If you have more than one outdoor transmitter (maximum 3), select channels CH1, CH2 or CH3
for each sensor to transmit on different channels before inserting the batteries. The channel
switch is behind the rear battery cover – unscrew it to open.
