1. INTRODUCTION

This Instruction manual has been written to simplify the use and maintenance of the
compressor. Strict attention should be paid to the contents of this Installation, use and
Instruction Manual to ensure that correct and economical use of the compressor.

Safety instructions.

Electrical Safety
1.2.1.1
ELECTRICITY can Kill. DO NOT OPERATE this machine if there is
any damage to the electrical cables attached to this machine.

The owner and operator are responsible for the safe installation
and use of this machine.
1.2.1.3
Before use you must read all instructions and make sure that in all
aspect the machine is safe to use.

This unit should be supplied via a suitably protected electrical supply,
and we strongly recommend the use of a Residual Current Circuit. Breaker.
Contact a suitably qualified Electrician for more information.

Ensure that the unit is PAT tested at regular intervals. Guidance for
the inspection period can be obtained by a suitably qualified Electrician.

Use the handle to move machine, DO NOT pull or carry the unit with
the power lead or plug.

Ensure before plugging unit in to a mains supply that the plug, leads
and connectors are not;
a. Chaffed, cut or damaged in any way. If there is any damage DO NOT
use unit until the damage has been repaired by a suitably qualified
person.

We do not recommend using any kind of extension lead with this unit
as it can cause volt drop in cables which in turn can cause the motor speed to
reduce and hence the output of the compressor.

The unit comes fitted with a molded plug. If for any reason the plug
becomes damaged then a replacement plug of the BS 1363 or BS 1363A, and a
correctly sized fuse to BS 1362. Advice on sizing to be sought from a suitably
qualified Electrician.

the fuse blows ensure that itis replaced with the correct size DO
NOT use a larger sized fuse.

It is recommend that you DO NOT use outdoors or in wet or damp
conditions, unless suitable protection against electric shock Is taken.

General Safety

Keep workspace clean and tidy to avoid any trip hazards.

Keep tools away from machine.

Ensure any connected air-lines remain clear of machine and
tangle free to avoid trip hazards.

Before use the all air lines should be checked for signs of damage and
wear any such damage should be repaired before unit is put back into service.

WARNING the compressor should only be serviced by an authorised
agent or representative.

Before carrying out any maintenance make sure machine is isolated
from the electrical supply and that the air tank is emptied.

Ensure machine Is kept on solid ground and as level as possible to
avoid machine falling over and causing injury. We recommend that the unit is
kept under a 10° angle.

Keep all un-authorised persons away from machine this Is to include
children and animals.

NOT touch the compressor because during use it will become very
hot.
