Charging the Handset Batteries
Before initial operation, you should fully charge the handset's batteries for
15 hours or more.
To charge the handset, simply place it on the base, you will
hear a confirmation beep (charging beep).
When charging, the
icon on the display will scroll.
Note
Slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow and remove it.
Insert new batteries as indicated, matching correct polarity (+, -).
To replace the battery cover, slide the cover up until it snaps in place.
Three chargeable AAA Ni-MH batteries come with your phone. Install the
batteries before using your phone.
The batteries need to be replaced if they don't recover their full storage
capacity after recharging.
When replacing the batteries, always use some good quality Ni-MH re-
c h a r g e a b l e b a t t e r i e s . N e v e r u s e o t h e r b a t t e r y t y p e s e s p e c i a l l y
conventional alkaline batteries.
Reversing the orientation may damage the handset.

You can change the language used to display the menu messages. There
are 7 different languages: English,

of your settings (name of the handset instead of the number of the
base followed by the number of the handset.)
