Paging
If a call comes in while the handset is being paged, the handset stops the paging
operation and starts ringing normally in order to allow you to answer the call.
Note
Out of Range Indication
The bars at the right of the
icon continuously show the signal strength
received from the base. If you are too far from the base, the radio signal
might become too weak and the phone might not access the telephone line.
In these conditions you can't make or receive phone calls, for this reason,
the

Remove the SIM card from your cellular phone by following the
instructions stated in its user's manual.
4
Carefully slide the SIM card inside the base slot keeping the
smoothed corner on bottom left and the golden contacts toward the
slot ones. Make sure that the SIM card slides under the guides on
either side of the reader.
Even if the SIM card is placed in the base, the phonebook contents are
transferred in the handset's memory (not in the base), so the base acts only as a
wireless SIM card reader.
The numbers contained in the SIM phonebook are copied into the handset one
and added to the entries already stored in it which are not overwritten. The
maximum number of entries is 250. If your handset phonebook already contains
200 entries, only the first 50 entries on the SIM card will be copied.
