4.3 - Using the Generator Set
Allow the engine to run for approximately 2 minutes immediately after starting. This
allows it to warm-up and ensures better performance. during the warm-up period,
inspect the generator for excessive vibration and irregular noises.
ADDING A LOAD
1. All devices should be turned off prior to connecting. Switches should
remain in the OFF position.
2. Start the generator according to section 4.2
3. When the voltage indicator shows a minimum of 90% of the rated
device load, proceed with step 4.
4. Insert the plug of the device into the receptacle based on the voltage
requirement of the device.
5. Lift the Master Breaker switch to ON position and turn on the device.
To stop the engine in an emergency, immediately press the Emergency Stop
button located on the control panel.
