Driving your vehicle

When the EPB (electric parking
brake) is not released

If the EPB does not release normal-
ly, we recommend that you contact
an authorized EQUUS dealer by
loading the vehicle on a flatbed tow
truck and have the system checked.

AUTO HOLD

The AUTO HOLD feature keeps the
brakes applied after the vehicle
comes to a complete stop when the
shift lever is in D, R, or N. The brakes
release when throttle is applied.

CAUTION

If there is a noise or burning
smell after using the emergency
braking,

have your vehicle

checked by an authorized
EQUUS dealer as soon as pos-
sible.
