With assistance, tilt the housing upside down to allow the oil to drain.

Examine the oil to check for metal chips as a precaution.
Return the housing to an upright position.
Refill the exciter with the correct amount of oil.
DO NOT
overfill as overfilling can cause
the excess oil to leak out of the
breather. The breather is a hole drilled through the output shaft of the agitator.

Once the oil is at the correct level, apply pipe sealant to the pipe plug and reinstall into
the top of the exciter housing.

Reinstall the deck, V-belt(s) and belt guard.

DO NOT
use a pressure washer or hose pipe to clean the machine.
Water could penetrate the engine and cause failure.

Use a brush to remove large pieces of debris then wipe over with a moist cloth.

Use a silicone based grease to lubricate moving parts.

use any solvent based cleaning products to clean the machine. This could
damage plastic components.
