4.4 Access Management
The Access Management is designed for the conventional communication system. It
has two management types: Local Access Management and Multi-site Access
Management. The former is to prevent the radio beyond the ID range from
accessing the repeater, while the latter is to repeat the right data to the radio
satisfying the predefined conditions over IP network.
In Local Access Management mode, as the repeater in sleep status receives the
reviving code from the radio, it will determine whether this radio ID is within its ID
range. If yes, the service data will be repeated. When the repeater is activated, it will
analyze the received data from the radio to determine whether this radio ID is within
its ID range. If yes, the service data will be repeated.
In IP Multi-site Connect system, when one repeater receives service requests from
the radio, it will transfer them to each repeater in the system over IP network to
determine whether the access is granted. In this case, there is only one group of call
in progress at a time, which wastes radio resources. However, the Multi-site Access
Management feature helps you to address the above problem and realize
point-to-point communication.
