Programmable Features (via Accessory Jack)
For the mobile radio, you can program PIN3, PIN5, PIN6, PIN12, PIN20, PIN22 and
PIN23 with features below:

1 Ex Mic PTT
When the pin detects an active level, the radio
triggers transmission.
2 Carrier Detect
When the radio detects carrier signals, the pin
outputs an active level.
3 Channel Steering (1–5) This feature realizes automatic channel switch.
4 Telemetry VIO (1–6)
With this feature, users can set the current GPIO
interface to Telemetry VIO 1–6.
5 Speaker Open Detect
The pin outputs an active level when the speaker
unmutes, or when the MIC audio is output from
PIN8.
6 Monitor
If an active level is detected, the radio will enable or
disable the Monitor feature.
7 Monitor Momentary
If an active level is detected, the radio will monitor
the current activities and unmutes the speaker;
otherwise, the radio will exit the Monitor status.
8 RX Audio Mute
If an active level is detected, the radio will mute the
speaker (on the front panel and the rear panel) no
matter whether the Rx voice conditions are satisfied.
9 TX CTCSS/CDCSS Inhibit
If an active level is detected, the radio will inhibit
transmission of CTCSS/CDCSS signaling
immediately.
10 Public Address
If an active level is detected, the radio will enable the
Public Address feature.
11 Ext Alarm/Horns & Lights
If the radio receives an emergency alert, a call alert
or a private call and no key operation is made within
the specified period, this port will output an active
level, which will drive the external alarm devices
(speaker or light) connected with the GPIO interface.
12 PA Relay
PA (Public Address): When this function is enabled,
the pin will output an active level to turn on the
connected external speaker.
