Drive Pinion, Pinion Gear, and Bearings From Drive Axle Center Section
STEP 1.
Remove capscrews, washers, and pinion cover.

CAUTION
When removing the pinion nut, make sure the staked areas do not touch the pinion threads. The
staked areas can cause damage to the pinion threads, making the pinion unserviceable.
STEP 2.
Using a small, flat chisel, unstake the pinion nut.
Remove pinion nut and washer.
