Virtual COM > Modbus RTU over TCP

For the industrial products, the Modbus protocol is the most popular industrial control protocol.
If the Modbus software/SCADA supported the Modbus RTU over TCP, the Virtual COM server
feature of router could handle it. You need to configure the RS-485(COM3) like the remote
management (serial settings, Virtual COM settings).

After above setup, you can use the Modbus software which supported the Modbus RTU over
TCP to control the Modbus sensor/device.
