BEARINGS

Install new bearings with the special tool.

OIL SEALS

Fit the oil seals to the crankcase following the procedure below.
Replace removed oil seals with new ones.
● Apply grease to the lip of the oil seals.

● Be sure to apply Thread Lock “1324”to outer surfaces of right

and left crankshaft oil seals to prevent them from moving.

● When fitting the oil seal in the crankcase, insert it slowly with

the special tools.

ENGINE REASSEMBLY

Reassembly is generally performed in the reverse order of disas-
sembly, but there are a number of reassembling steps that demand
or deserve detailed explanation or emphasis. These steps will be
taken up for respective parts and components.
