2.2.2 Users

Read and follow all instructions concerning use 
of the product.

Do not carry out any activities that are only 
intended for experts, qualified personnel, and 
service technicians authorised by the operator.

If there are no guardrails to prevent falls, the 
product must always be used in conjunction 
with the appropriate fall protection PPE.

2.2.3 General safety instructions

Use the handrails when climbing up the stairs.

 

ȫ

The product may only be accessed via the 
access point provided (e.g. stairs, ladder). 
Climb up slowly and without rushing.

 

ȫ

Keep your eyes on the steps when descending 
a staircase steeper than 45°.

 

ȫ

No-one is allowed to remain between the cross 
and diagonal braces of the platform unless for 
maintenance and repair purposes.

 

ȫ

Step on the product only when the brake unit is 
engaged (applies to mobile products).

 

ȫ

When moving the product, make sure that 
there is a clear path and always keep an eye on 
it (applies to mobile products).

 

ȫ

Always regulate the travel speed to ensure the 
product can be stopped at any time (applies to 
mobile products).

 

ȫ

Always move mobile products in the 
longitudinal or diagonal direction on a level, 
unobstructed surface with sufficient load 
capacity. Upon arrival at the desired location, 
immediately secure them against rolling away.

 

ȫ

Never move mobile products if there are 
persons, materials or tools on them.

 

ȫ

Always move mobile products by manual force. 
Never use a tow vehicle or forklift for this 
purpose. Avoid any impact with other objects.

Do not climb onto the guardrails.

Do not lean your body against the guardrails.

Do not exceed the specified permissible loads.

Do not try to increase the working height by 
using ladders, boxes or other equipment.

Always distribute loads evenly on the platform.

Do not place any objects on the stairs.

Do not generate lateral loads, e.g. by swaying 
back and forth.

Do not attach cranes, hoists or other similar 
equipment to the product.

Do not jump on the stepping surfaces.

Slippery substances (oils, greases, etc.) as well 
as ice and snow must be removed from the 
stepping surfaces and guardrails before the 
product is used.

3  OVERVIEW

3.1  Scope of delivery

The scope of delivery varies depending on the 
order.

 

→ Before starting to assemble the product, check 

whether all parts have been included and are in 
perfect working order.

 

→ Use only original parts that are free from 

defects when assembling the product.

 

→ If there are any missing, damaged or defective 

parts, please contact the manufacturer or 
dealer.

 

→ Observe the type plate.

3.2  Accessories

Some products have optional add-on parts or 
accessories. They can be requested directly from 
the manufacturer or dealer.
