Protect your roots! Many cities are switching to chloramines as their primary method of
disinfection. Chloramines are most commonly formed when ammonia is added to chlorine to treat
drinking water, making it harder to remove. While our Green Coconut Carbon filters work great
for chlorine, the smaller molecule size of chloramines requires additional filtration to ensure your
root-supporting microbes are happy and healthy.
