7 Remedying malfunctions
In order to get quick and immediate assistance in the case of er-
rors, you will find the most often occurring errors with their cause
and remedy with suitable specialist personnel in this chapter.
The following errors may occur while operating the product:

The viscosity of
the fluid is too
high.
Check the viscos-
ity of the fluid.
Heat the fluid to
achieve the per-
missible viscosity.
Leak at the coa-
lescing housing.
Wrong, missing,
or defective seal-
ing ring.
Check the sealing
ring of the filter el-
ement. Replace it
if necessary.
The cover on the
coalescing hous-
ing is not tight
enough.
Tighten the ribbon
clip fully.
