4 Installation  

 
To ensure safe operation of the level sensor the following conditions must be met: 

■

  The sensor must only be used in non-pressurized applications. 

■

  The sensor must be mounted vertically to the fluid surface. 

■

  Ensure that no obstacles project into the blind zone.  

 
 
 

■

  Ensure that there are no components (e.g. threaded connections, hoses, inlet pipes etc.) 

inside the ultrasound field. 

■

  Prevent adhesions (e.g. drops of water, contaminants) from collecting on the sensor 

head.
