CAUTION:
The EDS 3400 must be fitted using a suitable open-end wrench
(across flats 27) on the hexagon nut of the pressure connection.
Inappropriate installation methods, such as manually fitting above the housing can
damage the housing or even cause the device to fail completely, due to the
rotatability of the EDS 3400.
Additional installation suggestions which, from experience, reduce the effect of
electromagnetic interference:

Make line connections as short as possible
x
Use shielded lines (e.g. LIYCY 4 x 0.5 mm²)
x
The cable screening must be fitted by qualified personnel subject to the ambient
conditions and with the aim of suppressing interference.
x
Keep the unit well away from the electrical supply lines of power equipment, as well as
from any electrical or electronic equipment causing interference.
