Suction strainer cleaning interval
The filtration unit is equipped with various suction screens depending on its
design.
The suction strainer (5a) has a much larger absorption capacity at a mesh
width of 300 µm than the suction screen (5b) with a mesh width of 100 µm.
This results in very different cleaning intervals for the different versions.

*) For heavily contaminated fluid, the maintenance intervals shorten.
If the effectiveness of the pump falls or if the pump's noise
levels increase, then check / clean the suction strainer.
