Field strengths from f1xed transmitters, such as base stations for radio
(cellularlcordless) telephones and land mobile radios, amateur ra di o , AM and FM
radio broadcast and TV broadcast cannot be predicted theoretically with acc u racy .
To assess the electromagnetic environment dueto fixed RF transmitters, an
electromagnetic srte survey should be co n s id ered . lf the measured field strength in
the location in which !he EUT is used exceeds the applicable RF compliance level
above, the EUT should be observed to verify normal operation. lf abnormal
performance is observed, addltional measures may be necessary, such as re­
�rienting or relocating !he EUT.
