To tie off threads when starting and ending quilting
1. After the machine is threaded, move the machine over the quilt to your starting location.
2. While firmly holding the tail of the needle thread, press the needle up/down button twice, causing
the needle to go down through the quilt sandwich and then back to the up position. Or press and
hold the up/down button until the needle does a full revolution; then release the button.
3. Move the machine four to six inches while holding the needle thread in place. The bobbin thread will
pull up through to the top of the quilt.
4. Grasp the bobbin thread loop and pull it to the desired length. Reposition the needle to the starting
location, and tie off the threads by quilting a few stitches in place. Then begin quilting.
