STARTING AND STOPPING

Before starting
•
Check that the machine is assembled correctly and do
not show any signs of damage. See instructions in the
section "Assembling and adjustments".
•
Perform daily maintenance. See instructions in the
section "Maintenance".
•
Check that the emergency stops on the main control
panel and on the control panel are not depressed by
turning them clockwise.
•
Lower the grinding unit with the support wheel so that
it rests on the surface. Swing up the support wheel or
remove it.
Start (manual maneuvering)
•
Make sure the locking pins are pulled out on both
wheels so that the wheels are disengaged for manual
maneuvering.
•
Make sure the STOP/RUN control on the control panel
is turned to STOP.
•
Turn the main switch to position '1' to start the
machine.
•
Turn the switch on the control panel to '0' for manual
operation.
•
Switch the machine to run mode using the STOP/RUN
switch on the control panel. The machine should start
smoothly and accelerate to the selected speed over a
period of 5 seconds During the boot, it is default for
the small engine to have about 2 sec. delay.
Stop (manual maneuvering)
•
Turn the start/stop knob on the control panel to
'STOP'. Continue keeping the machine in motion until
the grinding unit stops.

WARNING! Please read the operator’s
manual carefully and make sure you
understand the instructions before using
the machine.
Wear personal protective equipment. See
instructions under the heading ”Personal
protective equipment”.
Make sure no unauthorised persons are
in the working area, otherwise there is a
risk of serious personal injury.
Never leave the machine unattended
while grinding.
NOTICE! On certain surfaces and with certain diamond
configuration, the machine may require lifting slightly to
start rotation. This applies for both start (manual
maneuvering) and start (remote maneuvering).

CAUTION! The machine must be kept in
motion the whole time the grinding unit
is running.
