13.21 Installing the center fuel tank spoiler

Main work
–
Position the center fuel tank spoiler and press the holding
lugs in area
A
into the bracket.
Make sure the holding lugs engage in the brackets.
–
Mount and tighten screws

Guideline
Screw, trim M5 3 Nm (2.2 lbf ft)
Finishing work
–
Install the battery cover. ( p. 89)
–
Mount the front rider's seat. ( p. 81)
–
Mount the passenger seat. ( p. 81)

Preparatory work
–
Remove the passenger seat. ( p. 80)
–
Remove the front rider's seat. ( p. 81)
–
Remove the battery cover. ( p. 88)
–
Remove the center fuel tank spoiler. ( p. 89)

Main work

Remove screws

Remove the left fuel tank spoiler from the rubber bushing in
area
A
.
–
Pull the left fuel tank spoiler in areas
B
out of the brackets.
–
Take off the left fuel tank spoiler, pulling it sideways.
