- Pull oil filter

out of the oil filter housing.

I Lock ring plier (51012011000) (

p. 305)

- Completely drain the engine oil.

- Thoroughly clean the parts and sealing surfaces.

- Lay the motorcycle on its side and fill the oil filter housing to

about ½ full with engine oil.

- Fill the oil filter with engine oil and position the oil filter in the

housing.

- Oil the 0-ring of the oil filter cover and mount it together with

oil filter cover@.

- Mount and tighten the screws.

- Stand the motorcycle upright.
- Remove filler plug

from the clutch cover together with the

0-ring, and fill up with engine oil.
