5.5 Replacing the charging strips
When the mower’s battery does not recharge this
may be due to worn charging strips in the mower.
The charging strips should be replaced when
blackened or if there is oxide. Also check the contact
strips in the charging station. See
5.22 Replacing the
contact strips, charging station on page 77
.
1. Disassemble the body. See
5.2.1
Disassembling the body on page 57
.
2. Unscrew the three screws (Torx 20) that
secure the charging strip holder and the
magnet holder for the front collision sensor
magnet underneath the body.
3. Disassemble both holders.
4. Disassemble the charging cables and the
charging strips. Note! Make a note of the
position of the brown and the blue cables
so that these are refitted correctly later on.
5. Always replace both charging strips at the
same time. If the connections on the charging
cable are oxidised they should also be replaced.
6. Fit the charging strips and the charging cable.
7. Fit the holders and then the body.

5.7 Replacing the main circuit board
1. A mower’s operating information is stored
in the main circuit board. The Autocheck EXP
service program saves this information in
the log book and then transfers it back to the
mower again when the main circuit board has
been replaced. The mower must therefore be
connected to Autocheck EXP before replacing
