1. To replace the seals on the crank shaft, remove the

following parts first:

On the flywheel side:
• Starter
• Flywheel
• Generator, where appropriate

On the clutch side:
• Chain and bar. Refer to Operators manual.
• Chain guide plate
• Centrifugal clutch
• Oil pump
