Cylinder block and valve mechanism

Dismantling
Dismantle the muffler from the cylinder
block.
Unscrew the spark-arrester (A) and
clean with a wire brush.
Check the heat guard (B) with regard to
crack formation.
Empty all the petrol and oil.
Dismantle all parts around the cylinder
block including the heat guard.
Dismantle the oil hose.
Empty all the petrol and engine oil.
Dismantle the starter.
Dismantle the carburettor and the fuel
tank at the same time so the fuel hoses
do not need to be dismantled.
Dismantle the heat guard which is
screwed onto the cylinder block using 3
screws.
Dismantle the oil hose with the help of
flat nose pliers.
Dismantle the centrifugal clutch, the
drive for the starter and the flywheel.

Dismantle the camshaft gear.
Remove the 6 screws holding the
crankcase against the cylinder block.
Remove the crankcase by carefully
prying with a screwdriver so the gasket
paste releases its grip.packningsklistret

Dismantle the camshaft gear.
Remove the 6 screws holding the
crankcase against the cylinder block.
Carefully pry off the crankcase with the
help of a screwdriver.
