3. Attach the ignition coil to the ignition
cable.
3. Attach the ignition coil to the ignition
cable and ensure that the wire is
folded along the cable.
4. Pull the ignition coil into the spark
plug cover.
NOTE!
It is important that the tip of the ignition coil hits the centre of the
ignition cable to prevent sparking.
Dismantling
Dismantle air filter cowling, cylinder
cover, clutch cover, fan housing cover
and ignition coil.
Dismantling
Dismantle the air filter cowling, cylinder
cover and fan housing cover with fitted
clutch housing.
Remove the screws holding the ignition
coil and lift off the coil.
Dismantle the centrifugal clutch from
the flywheel. Dismantle the centrifugal clutch from
the flywheel.
Use tool no. 531 00 48-70 or, for
example, the shaft of puller 502 51 49-01
to prevent the flywheel from rotating.
Insert the shaft between the bosses on
the flywheel.
Remove the flywheel. Remove the flywheel.
Use tool no. 531 00 48-70 or a large
pair of slip-joint pliers to hold the
flywheel so it does not rotate.
Undo the flywheel nut using a socket
wrench (10 mm).
Pull off the flywheel using a suitable
puller.
