Electrical system

Dismantling

Dismantle the following:

The cylinder cover, the spark plug, the
fan housing cover with

tted starter, the

heat guard above the muf

er (A) and the

cylinder cover (B).

Dismantling

The following components must be
dismantled for the ignition system to be
accessible:

The cylinder cover, the spark plug, the
fan housing cover with

tted starter, the

heat guard above the muf

er (A) and the

cylinder cover (B).

Separate the short-circuit cables (C).

Remove the screws (D) and remove the
ignition module (E).

NOTE!

Do not lose the insulation sleeves
that are placed between the ignition
module and the cylinder.

Fit the piston stop, 522 43 18-01 and
dismantle the drive disc cup.

Fit the piston stop, 522 43 18-01, in the
spark plug hole.

Remove both screws (F) and remove the
drive disc cup.

NOTE!

Place the piston stop so that it is trapped between the piston stop and the
combustion chamber. It must not stick out into the exhaust port.

Remove the nut holding the

ywheel.

Remove the nut holding the

ywheel.

Dismantle the ignition module.
