OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  COMPRESSION

  MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION

1. Daily maintenance is required to ensure that the tool is kept in good working condition.
2. Check pressure of tool with factory approved pressure gage.
3. Do not store the tool in a humid environment.
4. Wipe away any excess oil with a soapy cloth.
5. Provided that maintenance of the tool is carried out regularly, the tool should provide

many years of service.

6. Should you experience any difficulty with the operation and maintenance of this tool,

contact Huskie’s technical support department at 1-800-860-6170.

1. Select the appropriate size dies for the connector being used.
2. Insert half of the die into the C-head by sliding it while pressing the release pin. Then insert
the other half of the die into the ram while pressing the other die release pin. 
3. To open latch, push in and twist knob (clock-wise) and insert connector in tool head, then
close and lock by twisting the knob (counter clock-wise).
4. Press the trigger and advance the ram so the connector is held between the dies.
5. Press the trigger until the compression is completed. A series of clicks will be heard followed
by a release in pressure when compression is completed. 
6. Press the release button to retract to ram. The ram continues to retract while the release
button is pressed. The ram stops when it reaches the lower end.
7. Remove the conductor from the tool.
