Raising Anchor
1. Start boat engine, this will allow control of boat when
anchor becomes free, as well as reducing load on bat-
tery.
2. Push windlass “Up” button being careful as the anchor
approaches the hull and anchor roller. Continue until the
anchor rests in the stemhead properly.
Note: If it appears there is no power to the windlass,
check reset breaker in stbd. aft cockpit locker. If windlass
becomes inoperable electrically, a manual winch handle
is supplied.

7.3.12 Instruments
The breaker marked “Instruments”, on the 12 Volt DC
Panel supplies power to the instruments on your boat.

7.3.13 GPS
The breaker marked “GPS”, on the 12 Volt DC Panel
supplies power to the GPS on your boat. For more infor-
mation about the controls of your instruments consult
product manual in your owner’s packet.
7.3.14 TV/DVD
The breaker marked “TV/DVD”, on the 12 Volt DC Panel
supplies power to the TV/DVD on your boat. For more
information about the controls of your instruments con-
sult product manual in your owner’s packet.
7.3.15 Head
The breaker marked “Head”, on the 12 Volt DC Panel
supplies power to the Head on your boat. For more
information about the controls of your instruments con-
sult product manual in your owner’s packet.
7.3.16 CO Monitors
For your protection, we have installed CO monitors
aboard your boat. Be sure and check your Owner’s
Packet for more info concerning your CO detectors. You
can also review the dangers of CO in the Boating Safety
Chapter of this manual.
Do not spray waxes or cleaning agents on the monitor.
7.3.17 Fire Extinguishing Systems
In the engine room, there is a fire extinguishing bottle
installed. This system is DC powered with a relay, or
“module”, and the alarm at the helm station.
When a fire is detected on your boat, the alarm will sound
and set off the Halon bottle. This relay will shut down the
engines, the blowers, and the generator. To reset the
system, activate the reset switch on the monitor at the
helm. See Fig. 7.6.

7.3.18 Maintenance
The maintenance of your DC system is ensuring that all
connections are clean, tight, and covered with a corrosion
inhibitor compound.
