The content theft-deterrent system is
armed when all of the doors are closed
and have been locked with the Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter.

If a locked door is not opened using the
RKE transmitter or by OnStar, the horn
will chirp for 10 seconds and then the
alarm will go off. The alarm will flash
the front turn signal lamps and sound
the horn for two minutes. To prevent
the alarm from going off, unlock the
doors using the RKE transmitter. To
turn off the alarm, press the Unlock
button on the RKE transmitter or start
the engine using the correct key.
The content theft-deterrent system will
not activate if the doors are locked
with a key, the manual door lock or the
power door lock switch.

Your H3/H3T also is equipped with the 
Passlock® theft-deterrent system that
requires the correct key be used to
start the engine. If the correct key is
not used or the ignition lock cylinder 
is tampered with, the fuel system is 
disabled and the engine will not start.
