Getting to Know Your

The windshield wiper controls are on
the multifunction lever, located on the
left side of the steering column. Turn
the band with the wiper symbol to
adjust the function of the wipers.
((M Miisstt)):: Move the band down to
this position to turn the wipers on for
a single wipe. Hold the band at this
position for additional wipes.
((O Offff)):: This position turns off the
windshield wipers.

To raise a power window, pull up on
the switch.

The driver’s window has an express-
down feature that automatically
lowers the window completely
without holding the switch. Press
down on the switch past the first
position to activate the express-
down mode.

The window lockout button is
located forward of the power
window switches. Press the button
to disable the passengers’ power
window switches.

Automatically turns on Daytime
Running Lamps in the daytime, and
headlamps, parking lamps, taillamps
and instrument panel lights at night.
In a dark environment, the lamps will
turn on when the vehicle is shifted out
of Park (P).
((P Pa arrk kiin ng g LLa am mp pss)):: Manually turns
on parking lamps, taillamps and
instrument panel lights only.
((H He ea ad dlla am mp pss)):: Manually turns on
headlamps, parking lamps, taillamps
and instrument panel lights.

The automatic headlamps use a
light sensor, located on top of the
instrument panel, to determine light
conditions. To ensure proper system
operation, avoid placing any objects
on or near the sensor or covering
the sensor.

located on the armrest of each door.
