Please read these operating instruc-
tions carefully. They tell you how to
set up the system correctly and ex-
plain all the system features to you.

mediately contact your dealer or the
manufacturer directly.
Functioning principle
The »S/PDIF converter« is an audio
converter for coaxial or optical input
signals. It processes digital audio si-
gnals either at the coaxial or at the
optical input. The respective input is
selected by a switch. The system con-
verts the digital audio signal at the in-
put into an analogue audio signal with
right and left channel and feeds it to
the output. This output provides high
audio quality.
Setup
Front view
- Push the selector switch for the co-
axial or optical input to the desired
position.
- Insert the plug at the end of the 9 V
power supply unit into the appropria-
te socket. Then plug the power
supply unit into the normal 230 V
household wall socket.
Lateral view
- Connect your audio devices (e.g.
TV set, DVD player or Blu-ray play-
er) with coaxial or optical output with
the coaxial or optical input of your
converter.
- Connect the left and right analogue
stereo output with the audio input to
your TV/audio listening system or
audio device (TV set, hifi system,
amplifier).
