Disabling the permanent RF radiation
The base station and the hand set continuously exchange information in standby mode and
during calls via radio waves that in case of an incoming call a ring tone and the caller ID can
be transmitted from the base station to the mobile set. These radio waves can be reduced
or deactivated completely if the handset is close to or inside the charger of the base station.
In order to activate one of the 5 functions proceed as follows:

Possible functions and their operation:
Minimum - The base station and the handset exchange information only during a call.
In standby mode the radio waves are almost completely deactivated.
Very low -
The base station and the handset exchange information during a call and
within limits in standby mode. In addition the strength of the radio waves is
strongly reduced.
Low -
The base station and the handset exchange information during a call and
to some extent during standby mode. In addition the strength of the radio
waves is strongly reduced.
Normal -
The base station and the handset continuously exchange information.
There is no reduction of the radio waves.
Automatic - The base station and the handset exchange information during a call and
in standby mode. In addition the strength of the radio waves is auto-
matically adjusted depending on the distance between base station and
handset.
Kindly keep in mind that the range for the settings Minimum, Very low and Low is less due
to the reduced transmitting power. If you have selected one of the previously mentioned
settings you can phone only in the immediate vicinity of the base station.
