You can retrieve messages from the answering machine from any other phone (e.g. hotel,
telephone booth).
The following conditions must be met:
1. You have set a remote query PIN other than 0000 (refer to set remote query PIN,
page: 20)
2. The phone used for the remote query is tone dial enabled (DTMF), i.e. when press-
ing a key you hear different tones.

Once you hear your message text: enter remote query PIN via the keypad.
You will hear a signal tone to confirm your entry.
Now you can operate the answering machine via the keypad of the other telephone.
Note:
If you have entered the wrong remote query PIN, the call is terminated.
