Connecting a neckloop to the “earis XS” pocket receiver
You can only use the induction loop if you have a hearing aid with an in-
duction coil (T-coil). The induction loop is not included. It can be purchased
from your dealer.
Connect the 3.5 mm jack plug of the induction loop with the jack socket of
the pocket receiver.
Set your hearing aid to the T-position or loop program to hear the sound.
If your hearing aid does not have a T-position or if you wish to use a coch-
lear hearing aid, please contact your hearing care professional.
Connecting headphones to the “earis XS” pocket re-
ceiver
Connect the 3.5 mm jack on the headphones with the jack socket on the
pocket receiver.
To use the “earis XS” pocket receiver, proceed as follows:
1. Switch on your sound source (e.g. TV). If “earis XS” is connected via
the headphone output, you should set the volume of the sound source
to a medium volume. This is not necessary if Earis XS is connected via
Toslink or Cinch.
2. The receiver switches itself on automatically when you take it out of the
charging dock. When the receiver is on, the green status LED on top
of the receiver is lit.
Use the volume control on the receiver to adjust the volume to a low
level to protect your hearing. A low level of volume is indicated when
only a few LEDs on the volume indicator are lit. The more LEDs on the
volume indicator light up, the higher the set volume.
