Water Pump
Use Engine Oil
Supply three or four drops of light
engine oil in the oil cup "A," shown
in the illustration, every 1000 miles.
This is the only point on the pump
requiring lubrication. Do, not over-
lubricate, and wipe off excess oil as
this may get on the belt and cause
slippage on the pump and fan pulleys.
Distributor
Use Engine Oil
Fill distributor base to the level of the
oil cup "C" with engine oil every 1000
miles.
Coat rotor cam "B" lightly with vase-
line or light cup grease every 2000 miles.
Apply a drop of oil at breaker arm
pivots "A" every 1000 miles. Note: One
breaker arm pivot not shown in illustra-
tion.
Remove the rotor and apply a few
drops of oil to wick on top of shaft. Do
not overlubricate. Wipe off all excess oi
l.
Generator
Use Engine Oil
Three or four drops of light engine oil
at points "A" and "B" in the illustration
every 1000 miles.
Do not attempt to supply more oil than
is required to fill the cups once as excess
oil may prevent proper operation of the
unit.
