Hardware Configuration

 

External Components

 

The front view of Model 701-804 is shown in Figure 1.  The assembly includes a handset and cradle.
When the handset is lifted from the cradle or replaced in the cradle, a hookswitch (a magnetic reed
switch) in the cradle signals the appropriate status to the micro-controller within the assembly.

 

To the right of the cradle are a product label, a nameplate concealing the User Level Adjustment control,
and an auxiliary jack for a Model 10401-201 Headset/Microphone Assembly and Model 10416-103
Extension Cable (auxiliary headset/cable assembly or auxiliary headset).
