CORD MOUNT
1. Adjust to specified cord height and crimp strain relief
above strap taking into account the strap, nipple,
and cord bushings. NOTE: If a shorter cord length is
desired requiring the cutting of cord, see additional
instruction sheet/parts bag supplied with fixture.
2. Tie a knot in cord to secure fixture.
3. Make electrical connections using properly sized UL
listed wire connectors. Connect the line voltage to
the black wire, the neutral to the white wire, green to
the ground wire and ground screw, and make any
control connections to the proper control wires. Cap
any dimming wires not being used.
4. Adjust 1/4 IP canopy nipple so that at least 1/2” will
protrude from the strap or 1/4” when canopy is
installed and tighten locknut.
5. Slide canopy up to octagonal box (by others) and
install cord bushing.
SURFACE MOUNT
1. Detach the mounting strap assembly from the
cylinder by loosening the two outer canopy
screws. Route the supplied power wiring (and
control wiring, if needed) through the opening in
the mounting strap assembly.
2. Make electrical connections using properly sized
UL listed wire connectors. Connect the line
voltage to the black wire, the neutral to the white
wire, green to the ground wire and ground
screw, and make any control connections to the
proper control wires. Cap any dimming wires not
being used.
3. Secure fixture by re-aligning the cylinder canopy
holes with mounting strap bracket and re-install
outer canopy screws from Step 1.
CAUTION: Do NOT pinch wires when installing!
