4.13 Capacitance measurement
Warning
Electric shock danger.
It shall discharge the capacitor completely
before measuring the capacitor to avoid
electric shock.
4.13.1 Turn the rotary switch to
, LCD shows measuring unit ―nF‖.
4.13.2 Respectively plug the black test lead and the red test lead into
INPUT— jack and INPUT+ jack.
4.13.3 Connect the test leads to the two terminals of the capacitor
after completely discharged for measuring.
4.13.4 Read values in the measurement display area of LCD.
Note:
1) If measure a capacitor with large capacity, it will take several
seconds for the instrument to read stably (30s at 200μF scale).
2) When input into an open circuit, LCD may show the reading, and

/REL key could by pressed to return it to zero for another
measuring.
