To install an M.2 SSD module, perform the following steps:

M.2 SSD modules support hot swap. You do not need to power off the server when installing an M.2
SSD module.

Step 2

Take an M.2 SSD module out of its ESD bag.

Step 3

Open the handle that secures the M.2 SSD module, push the module into a slot in the Avago
SAS3004iMR RAID controller card, and close the handle. See 

Figure 5-35
