Analysis

The U8185 uses Qualcomm's WCN2243 FM/Bluetooth chip to receive and process FM
signals and realize the FM function. The stereo signals from the FM module are amplif ied by
the MSM7225A and then sent to the headset or speaker.

WCN2243 FM section's major features:



Broad frequency range (76–108 MHz); channel interval: 50 kHz



Transceiver integrated with an FM modem and a frequency synthesizer



Complying with RDS and RBDS

Manual and automatic tuning
