1. How Can I Delete or Clear Configurations and Restore Factory Settings?

Back up the configuration file before restoring factory settings; otherwise, 
all configuration data will be deleted.

Restore the factory settings of a switch.

Run the 

clear configuration this

command in the interface view or the

command in the system view. Then shut down the interface.

The interface shuts down after interface configurations are cleared. To 
enable the interface again, run the 

undo shutdown

configuration.
