Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the red clip of the fan terminal CN17 (upper fan,
lower fan: CN19) of the control board, and then remove the interconnection terminal.

Pull out the cable from the fan side.
4.
Use a socket wrench to remove the four screws that secure the motor mounting plate, and
take out the motor and cable.
Step 5
Install the new outdoor fan by performing the preceding steps in reverse order, and connect
the fan cable to the corresponding position in the control board.
Step 6
Secure the outdoor fan cable using cable ties.
Step 7
Install the fan guard.
Step 8
Power on the equipment, choose
Maintain

Performance Maintain
on the home screen to
access the performance maintain screen
Step 9
Start the equipment and ensure that the smart cooling product works properly and no alarm is
raised.

5.4.2.2 Replacing a Control Board
Prerequisites
A control board needs to be replaced.
A spare control board of the same model is available and functional.
Context
Tools: Phillips screwdriver, diagonal pliers, cable tie.
Preparation: Power off the outdoor unit.
Procedure
Step 1
Turn off the indoor unit circuit breaker and circuit breaker in the power distribution cabinet.
If the outdoor unit does not take the electricity from indoor unit, turn off the circuit breaker
for the outdoor unit.
Step 2
Remove the top cover and left front panel using a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 3
Use diagonal pliers to cut off the cable ties that secure the control board cables, and remove
the cable terminals from the control board.
Take a photo before performing this step so that you know how to bind the cable ties and install the
cable terminals later.
Step 4
Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the bolts that secure the control board, and remove the
control board.
