Description
Via TFTP
This is the IP address of the configured TFTP server. When it is
selected, if the value is non-zero or not blank, the ET523 will
attempt to retrieve a new configuration file or a new code image
from the specified TFTP server at the boot time. With three
attempts before timeout, it will start the boot process with the
existed code image in the Flash memory. If a TFTP server is
configured and a new code image is retrieved, the new
downloaded image will be verified and then saved into the
Flash memory.
Note:
When adopting the TFTP upgrading software, you are
strongly recommended to upgrade the firmware in the local
LAN environment. Do not interrupt the TFTP upgrade
process (especially the power supply) to prevent from
damaging the device.
Via HTTP
The URL of the HTTP server used for firmware upgrade and
configuration through HTTP, such as:
http://um.huawei.com/etphone:6688/.
Here “:6688
”
is the specific TCP port that the HTTP server is
using. It is omitted when the default port 80 is used

HTTP download when it boots up.

The default setting is blank. If it is configured, the phone will
request the firmware file with the prefix. This setting is useful
for ITSPs. The end user should keep it blank.
