5 Phonebook
Adding a Contact
A new contact is saved to the memory in use.
Do the following to add a contact:
1.
Select Menu > Phonebook > Add New.
2.
Enter the phone number and press the left soft key to confirm.
3.
You can set the type of the phone number to:
Ø
Mobile
Ø
Office
Ø
Home
4.
Enter the name. Then press the left soft key to confirm or press
the right soft key to clear.
5.
Select Save .
Searching for a Contact
Contacts are arranged in accordance with the alphabetic order.
Do the following to search a contact::
1.
Select Menu > Phonebook > Search to access the Name
window.
2.
Enter the name of a contact in the Name window. Then select
OK.
3.
Select View to view details.
4.
Select Options to select:
Ø
White Message : Send a message to the contact.
Ø
Edit : Edit the name and phone number of the contact.
Ø
Copy Record : Copy the contact to your phone or the UIM
card.
Ø
Delete : Delete the contact.
Ø
View : View details.
