3 Text Entry
Input Modes
You can enter English letters, numbers, and symbols. The following
input modes are available:
l
English input: You can enter English through normal input mode
or predictive input mode.
l
123 input: Enter numbers.
During the editing, you can press the

key to switch between input
modes.
Entering English
In the English input mode, press and hold the
*
key to switch between
the ABC mode and the Predictive Input mode, press and hold the
#
key to switch among the upper case, lower case, and sentence caps
mode.
ABC Input Mode
You need to press the key labeled with the required letters.

Press once to enter the first letter.
l
Press twice to enter the second letter.
For example, enter "Huawei".
