● Do not place the product on unstable
surfaces, such as on a rickety table or
slanted surface. Be careful especially while
the battery is being charged or the vibration
mode is set. Doing so may result in the
product falling down and may cause a fault,
etc.
● Do not use power outlets or wiring
apparatus beyond its rating, for example, by
connecting too many extension cords or
power strips to a single outlet when
charging the product.
■ Main unit
● The battery is built into the product and
cannot be replaced by the customer. For
information on the battery replacement,
contact an au shop or Customer Service
Center.
● Do not forcefully press, tap or intentionally
subject the display to strong impact. Doing
so might cause scratching or damage.
● Do not forcefully press your fingernails,
sharp objects or hard objects against keys
or display surface. Doing so might cause
scratching or damage.
The touch panel is designed to be touched
lightly by your finger. Do not exert too much
pressure with your finger or press sharp-
pointed objects (fingernails, ballpoint pens,
pins, etc.) against it.
In the following cases, the touch panel may
not work even if you touch it. It may also
malfunction.

− Operation with your fingernails
